In most cases, the QuickStand can be positioned so the front or rear wheel can be lifted using the under-engine frame rails. On a few machines, engine-transmission or other interference may affect the positioning of the QuickStand and therefore limit the capability to either the front or rear wheel. The below list of sizing recommendations is intended to help you select the proper sized QuickStand for your application. Recommendations: 1. Check the undercarriage of your machine to ensure clear frame rails are available to lift your machine. You don't want to lift against motor-transmission or other components. 2. Measure your machine's height from ground to the underside of the frame rails when the machine is vertical, or measure the left and right side rail height if machine is on sidestand, and average the number. 3. Select a QuickStand from the specifications list and/or applications list that will provide a lift of at least one-inch over your frame rail height. The higher you lift your machine, the more initial effort it will require. |
